The rule of the open web is much simpler: you own your content if it’s on your domain name. That’s why I have my microblog posts here on manton.org and with their own RSS feed.

Pretty good idea, but I haven’t brought up the time to implement that myself, and so in the meantime my proper website doesn’t have a lot of blog posts, because I didn’t want to ‘spam’ it like my old sites with micro-blurbs. But I’ve been thinking about this again lately.

And while I love pants I’m not sure I’ll just go my own way again and have my most important content in my own system, just because I apparently prefer flexibility. On the other hand I might think about mixing #pants and my own system, because for small stuff and discussions… pants is good. I’m just worried about the integration, canonical urls, etc.pp

I’ve also been archiving my tweets lately.
